If you do a challenge mission (like The Shadow Nexus), do you have a better chance to obtain a hero armor piece?

Mysterious Armor Pieces can be only be obtained in the The Shadow Nexus Challenge Mission. It does not drop, but instead appears in players' inventories at random as a reward after killing a Margonite Portal Mage.

Only challenge missions like the one above, have monsters that drop items that can be used to craft hero armor.

But my question was if doing the challenge mission in HM, gives you better chances at getting a piece.
